Editorial Policy

How stories are selected

Aivio News covers developments that materially change what artificial intelligence systems can do, who controls them, what they cost to run, or how they are regulated. Announcements are covered because they matter, not because they were promoted to us. Vendor marketing is not treated as news.

Sourcing

Every article names its sources and links to them. We prefer primary sources: the announcement, the paper, the filing, the regulation, the leaderboard. Where we rely on another publication’s reporting, we say so and link to it rather than presenting it as our own.

Claims we cannot verify are attributed, not stated as fact. When a company reports a figure about its own product, the article says the company reported it.

Benchmark data

Every benchmark result on this site carries its source, its date, and a label saying whether it was produced independently, by the model’s vendor, or by the community. A vendor-reported score is never presented as equivalent to an independently reproduced evaluation.

News, analysis and opinion

Straight reporting is the default. Where an article interprets rather than reports, it is labelled as analysis. Aivio News does not publish paid or sponsored editorial content.

AI assistance

Aivio News uses AI tools in research, drafting, translation and image selection. Editorial responsibility for everything published rests with Love Lindberg, regardless of which tools were used. Details are in the AI and Translation Policy.

Independence

Advertising is sold through third-party networks. Advertisers have no influence over coverage and no advance access to it. Errors are handled under the Corrections Policy.
